Trickster might look like a super-cabley design, but there’s nary a true cable in sight. A simple twisted rib band morphs into the clever slip-stitch ribbing pattern of the crown, mimicking the look of cables.

A wool blend with silk or other drapey fiber is recommended. If you are adding a pompom, you’ll need an additional 20–40 yds [18–36 m] of yarn.
